Audiences may never hope to magically float a table but they do hope to escape the limitations they face in their personal and professional lives. The escape artist team of Sharon and Clyde Mighells, known as RoseOnyx, touches the need of the human spirit to move beyond that which constrains it. As the performers are liberated from their confines, so their audiences gain a fresh hope for their own success! Clyde’s background includes a Masters of Divinity and Ph.D. His performances and motivational presentations span more than twenty years. Clyde is no stranger to the need to overcome adversity having lost a brother to murder, a daughter to cancer, and a father to suicide. Though many female magicians perform escapes, Clyde’s wife, Sharon, now joins him as the only fulltime female escape artist in the world! Sharon’s onstage presence and personality immediately win the heart of the audience.

Together Clyde and Sharon provide dramatic escapes as well as entertaining comedy relief. Their own life lessons along with those of Harry Houdini and others are used to illustrate success in overcoming obstacles. These illustrations and use of metaphor demonstrate that freedom is not only possible but necessary for the human spirit to thrive. Finally, their audiences are delightfully reminded that facing one’s challenges serves as a primary source of satisfaction in life.

The RoseOnyx show is appropriate for all ages and can be presented on the big stage or within a conference room. Each performance is modified for the circumstances of the venue and the goals of the sponsor.
