Ron Hawking
Hawking has performed at New York's Carnegie Hall with the Philly Pops Orchestra and has opened for such notables as Carol Channing, Sheena Easton, Robert Klein, and The Temptations, just to name a few. In addition to being an accomplished vocalist, he is also one of the country's leading impressionists. Hawking created and has been performing his one man "Lively Art of Impressionism" show for corporate events and fundraisers since 1988. He has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild and The American Federation of TV and Radio Artists for over 20 years. In addition, he's one of the most sought-after jingle singers and commercial voice-over artists in the country. The voice behind hundreds of TV and radio commercials, Hawking is called "the Chameleon" by his recording studio peers. He has been heard as Starkist's Charlie the Tuna, Jimmy Durante for Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats, Louis Armstrong for Citizen Watch, Louis Prima for Progresso Soups, Ritchie Valens "La Bamba" for Subaru and Nat King Cole "Unforgettable" for Hershey's. He studied acting with Richard Pinter at New York city's Neighborhood Playhouse and improvisation with Jo Forsberg's Players Workshop of Second City.
