The Rave-Ons The Rave-Ons were formed in January of 2011 when the quartet met performing in BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY musical at the El Dorado Casino in Reno. The band has recently been seen traveling across the country in the national tour of BUDDY, playing prestigious venues of 2,000+ like the Orpheum in Memphis, Proctor's in Schenectady, NY, and The Cadillac Palace Theater in Chicago's Broadway district. The Rave-Ons are led by Todd Meredith, who has performed in 14 separate productions of the musical as Buddy Holly and in tribute concerts for the past six years. He’s joined by Bill Morey with his slap technique and acrobatic trickery on the upright bass, Joe Cosmo Cogen with his cartoon like enthusiasm and precise beats on the drums, and Jeremy Renner with his tasteful, soaring rockabilly solos on electric guitar. Their newest tribute show entitled THAT'LL BE THE DAY: A TRIBUTE TO BUDDY HOLLY AND THE CRICKETS has traveled all over the country, delighting sold out audiences at performing arts centers and theaters in New York, Tennessee, Ohio, Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Missouri. When performing for private parties and events, The Rave-Ons are always willing to go that extra mile for their client by learning requested songs or accommodating other special requests. They are very easy to work with and they are constantly asked back to venues again and again. Finally, the Rave-Ons also produce an accurate recreation of the last concert performed by Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper. The show is called THE NIGHT THE MUSIC LIVED and features impersonators of Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper as well as a horn section. THE NIGHT THE MUSIC LIVED has become a staple at BB King Blues Club in New York City. Location: New York City To book The Rave-Ons, Please contact us | ||||||||
