The World Famous JUST US Band
We are Dennis Walker and Cheryl Scheunemann, Cheryl and I met in July of 2010 and started singing together about a year later. We have spent out first 2 years playing as the "House Band" at Fat Sam's Pub in Venice on Saturdays and other local clubs in South West Florida on Friday and Week Nights. We started out just doing top 40 modern country with me playing an acoustic guitar and our vocals. We have since evolved to an electric guitar and acoustic. We now perform Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Today’s Country, Dance and Blues using state of the art professional backing tracks that we replace the guitars and vocals with JUST US. We have a wide of influences from the best of Rock and Country and we are constantly learning new songs and updating our song lists. During 80's and 90's Dennis Walker performed original music in the Ft. Lauderdale emerging rock and punk scene. He has recorded with Paul Trust, the Drummer and Producer of Legendary local rock band "Jesse Strange" who were signed to Sony Records and produced two records. Paul produced 7 songs for "The Stone Balloons" Dennis's project and basically taught him more than he can ever remember, Thanks Paul! If you’re looking for performers who sound like, feel like and are more fun to be with than the original artists who recorded these treasures, then we are the band for you.
