The Royal Remedy
The Royal Remedy was formed in 2011 after a long lived dream from Jonathan Pappas from Youngstown Ohio began to take shape. Pappas, along with several musicians he had worked with for years began playing songs geared towards a specific desire: making people want to move. Enter the scene one Mr. Matthew Chester Johnson. Mr. Johnson, taking over on drums let current drummer Justin Joseph Edwards move to guitar before eventually leaving the band.

The Royal Remedy began playing shows as a 3 piece band in the summer of 2011 with Jon Pappas on vocals and guitar, Jake Coughlin on bass and back vocals, and Matt Johnson on drums. After rocking the stage for several months, Jake decided it was his time to leave and Kevin Fields enters the band.

Adding Kevin's seducing harmonies with Jon's already addicting catchy melodies, the original idea of The Royal Remedy finally came to fruition.

A small stumbling block was placed in March 2012 when Matt Johnson and the other 2 of the band decided to part ways. Kevin and Jon thought carefully about who to replace him with before agreeing that Levi Dixie, although not originally a pop rock drummer, was a phenomenal fit with the band. The rest, you'll just have to listen to find out ;-)
