Saoco Son offers classic, contemporary and original Cuban music including Bolero, Son and Timba (Cuban Salsa). Directed by master artist Juan Carlos Blanco from Havana, Cuba, Saoco Son celebrates Cuba’s rich musical history by including in its repertoire classics from legendary artists such as: Buena Vista Social Club, Sierra Maestra, Los Van Van and Omara Portuondo while contributing its own original music to the genre. Saoco Son’s mission is to transmit the vibrance and joy of Cuban music and dance with integrity, passion and spirit.

Saoco Son has been featured at a variety of venues in San Diego area including Noche Cubana at the World Beat Cultural Center, the Latino Film Festival and local nightclubs. Saoco Son is available for private and public events were lively rhythms and soulful melodies are appreciated. Let us transport you to the heart of Havana to enjoy life Cuban style!

In addition to the musical band, Saoco Son can also provide an authentic Cuban dance floor-show with colorful costuming and dazzling dancers that will engage the audience.
