BODOMA's Band Short Biography

Bodoma (The Original Garifuna), represents his culture with traditional drumming, singing & dance with a youthful group of Garifuna players. Bodoma evokes the spirit of the ancestors while creating a joyful, conscious party atmosphere from punta to paranda to dance hall & reggaeton Bodoma is one of the most vibrant performers in the Americas today.

In 2005 Bodoma/Carlos has played music with a Japanese friend named Nobumichi Miyagi, who is reforming a reggae band since 2008 that is called "BODOMA" Garifuna-Japanese Reggae Band. The integrants are Garifunas and Japanese. Together, they have already had several events and have been accepted by the public. Nobumichi and Bodoma made a demo CD that is called GariRasta. For the year 2009 Bodoma is recording a demo of traditional music and reggae music with V. A. Record.
