Proverbs has been in the Washington DC Metropolitan area since 2000. The band strength comprises the diversity of its members, each bringing their own unique gift and experience, thus making Proverbs an eclectic, spiritual and socially conscious reggae band with a profound cultural base and deep rooted sound. Their musical influences range from genres such as SKA, ROOTZ REGGAE, GOSPEL, JAZZ, R&B, COMPAZ, ZOOK,SOUL and a splash of CALYPSO.
