Jason MitchellJason Mitchell
Only singing for five years, Jason continues to climb through the ranks at record speed and letting nothing stand in his path of success. Jason’s first release “No Sand In It” was produced by Dan Mitchell (co-writer of "If You're Gonna Play In Texas, You Gotta Have A Fiddle In The Band") for Dale Morris & Productions and was the first single release on the new label WeBlast Records. “No Sand In It” hit the independent charts and climbed to number one and stayed there for five weeks.

Jason has recorded a new CD and recently signed with DMP Records in January. Jason’s recent release “(I’m Yo) Chicken Man” debuted at number 37 on the independent charts and as of this writing, has climbed to number 28 in a little over a week, is the ninth most downloaded song on the independent charts, and getting heavy airplay in several states where it's frequently requested among the listeners.

Jason has played, and continues to play for packed venues from North Dakota to Georgia and everywhere in between. Jason likes to frequently head back to his native town to perform at the local spots. With over 70 venues currently scheduled for 2009, and adding more as the year progresses on, Jason is a favorite among the guests. Jason is extremely excited about headlining the Country Cruise aboard the Carnival Fascination for a week in 2009 and opening up for Country Music Star, Jimmy Wayne in Columbus Ohio.

Jason has one of the hardest working bands in the industry. They will keep off your seat and on your feet when they take the stage. Their professional music sounds like they were picked fresh out of today’s “Top 10” country charts. Jason and his band are down to earth as you can get. They are not afraid to mingle with the guests before, during and after the show and will always stop and pose for a photo or autograph.

Jason is taking his experience as a burn survivor and combining it with a music career that’s hitting high gear to help burn victims all over the country. In April 2008, Jason formed the Jason Mitchell Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit with a mission to raise funds for charities, specifically burn centers. Jason’s passion for helping burn centers comes from his own personal experience as a burn survivor. At 17, he suffered severe burns over much of his body while helping some friends shoot a high school class project.

The entertainment value of Jason Mitchell can’t be beat. Jason and his band provide a great variety of country, southern rock, and their highly acclaimed originals that will keep you on your toes, dancing, and singing. Jason and his band always perform as if it was their last show. Jason has the talent, the look, and is an electric performer who is driven by desire and dedication to make sure fans of all ages have the best musical experience they came to see.

Jason is represented by Dale Morris & Associates, the management company responsible for Alabama, Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Big and Rich and others.
