Poor AJ
It was me and Corey in 2002 during tech class talkin about how we both could play Carousel by Blink 182 on our respective instruments. Nothing came of it. 2 years later in 2004 we had the exact same conversation in English class. Still, nothing really came of it until we played together sometime in 2005 at my house, with me on my guitar and Corey on my drums. Later that year, London came over and on Corey's brothers mini piano (which acted as a synth), we made our first song. We decided that we should form a ska/synth band and to be a band, we needed a singer. I asked my brother Zack if he would sing for us and we became The Bottom Feeders. During this period we wrote out Street Hockey and Sleepless Nights. We played a show in our garage in the summer of 2006, playing mostly covers. After that, we planned on changing our name so we dropped The Bottom Feeders and we went nameless for while. It seemed that the band was about to end when Zack announced that he was going to quit. But one night, a few weeks later, Corey, London, and I wrote out the basic parts for Lost and Blind, and upon hearing it, Zack immediately rejoined. We knew that if we wanted to play a real show we would need some more members and we went searching. We went through the first half of 2007 looking for new members, which consisted of Krysl on bass, Kurt on trombone, and Wes on trumpet. By the summer, Wes and his brother Jonny (on bass) joined. Now that we had enough members to be called a band, we needed a name. Nearing the end of a hot day in the summer of 2007, we contemplated on what our name should be. It came down to a choice between London's name, The Most Likely To's, and mine, Poor AJ. Zack suggested we combine the two and we became Poor AJ and The Most Likely To's, and we've been writing songs and playing shows ever since.but as of 2008, we're now only "POOR AJ" -Anthony
