No history of the Chicago soul scene would be complete without mentioning Chicago born and bred Marzette Griffith. As the main singer singer in the group Essence (Epic/Cleveland International) he propelled the group's single's "Sweet Fools" and "I Ain't Much But I'm All've Got" to the Billboard Top 100 charts inthe late 70s.Now after finally signing with a new label (Baby Brown Records) out of DC, Marzette is ready to Leap to the Big time with his new CD " And, Now Marzette".
