Rob Twohy
Rob Twohy is the consummate professional. I just wish as a club owner that more comics were like Rob. He comes to the show prepared, ready to rock the house and gives it his all. You never have to worry about him having an "off night" or being the "moody, pro comic". So many times I hear comics say, "Oh that crowd sucked" What??? What the hell did they do? They did their part, the came to the show and wanted to laugh! Rob comes to have fun and delivers the goods! You never have to ask Rob to promote his shows, he does it already because he knows that as a professional, THAT'S WHAT PROFESSIONALS DO. So many comics come to me with this attitude of, "Hey man, it's not my job to promote the show, I just do my act". And yet if these same comics were booked at some big name, chain club they would invite and tell everyone they ever met in their entire life!! Rob promotes himself and his show tirelessly from calls, to emails, interviews, to standing on the corner with a sandwich board, no matter what, he gets the word out. As a club owner, when it comes to show time I know that I can sit back and enjoy the show because Rob will deliver. I don't have to worry about a thing because the mood is always light and fun. More comics, established and especially up and coming comics, should look at Rob Twohy and follow his path, they would be on the right track. Rob Twohy comes highly endorsed.
