Tuputala Luaus and Polynesian Shows
We take you on a tour of Polynesia begining in Tahiti. Our native drummers pound the authentic rythms of Bora Bora while our costumed dancers perform traditional exotic dances from what is known as French Polynesia. With a stop in Samoa, our warriors perform the infamous fire knife dance and enlighten you with the Samoan Slap. We visit New Zealand where the dancers entertain your guests with the Haka and Poi Balls as our musicians sing and play the harmonous chants of the Mouri. We then travel to Hawaii for some ancient Hula, or Kahiko, which includes awesome drumming and native chants. We add a few Hapa Haoli tunes as our dancers tease and exite the crowd while our band, The Hawaiian Surf Band, jams on Hawaiian songs written many years ago. The show ends with a fun filled audience participation that is second to none. Theres no doubt that everyone leaves with a smile and a feeling that they just traveled Polynesia. We've been performing for 25 years throughout the USA, Canada and Europe. We perform everything from a simple Hula gram to a full show with many dancers and musicians. Our Hawaiian Surf Band can play before and after the show as well casting a Hawaiian mood on you and your guests. We offer lei passing, lei making and a host of other Polynesian style specialties as well. No show is too large or to small.
