Nonp (Nonpareilyx)
NONPAREILYX." The name means "unparalleled" or "unmatchable" lyrics, but it goes beyond that. To some it's become synonymous with an abyssmal energy charged with a magnetic charisma uncharacteristic of Hip Hop groups of late. To others it's the left-of-center sound that has captivated audiences in the Pacific Northwest, New York City, Las Vegas, Arizona, and Southern California. To the three creators of it all, it's their artistic expression of what saved them from lifes hardships.

Nonpareilyx (NONP for short) was formed by Chris (Breinchild) and A'shanti (M.T. Mind) Jenkins in 1998, and later solidified as a trio with the addition of Kyle (K-Style) Bluff in '99. The three became an inseperable staple of the Seattle Hip Hop scene in 2000 - 2002 with the release of their first independent album, No Equal, and continued to increase their fanbase with their follow up releases: The Soundtrack ('03), Nonpareilyx ('04), and The NONP mix tape Vol. 1 ('05). Their creative, high-energy performances landed them on stages in Lake Havasu, several SoCal nightclubs and opening for artists like: Sir Mix-a-lot, Sly Boogy, 4th Ave Jones, Nappy Roots, and Wyclef.

Currently in the studio, K-Style, Breinchild, and M.T. Mind are putting the finishing touches on their 4th, not yet titled, album. Looking to up the ante and attract some attention from major/ indie labels, this will be the first album recorded in a multi-million dollar studio. Still the trademark Nonpareilyx project, this album is set to further blur the line between Commercial and Underground hip hop; while delivering NONP's a-typical, creative sound and subject matter to the masses.
