Vickie criss-crosses the USA from Montana to Maine, stopping to chat with folks in cafes, bowling alleys, at concerts, or even midstream Gallatin river with hipwaders and flyrod as tools of the trade. In addition to bringing home the trends direct from their cultural headwaters, Vickie brings over 15 years of marketing and brand leveraging experience to Iconoculture.

In a previous incarnation, Abrahamson was founding partner in the brand naming and new product development firm ICON Intergalactic. She has worked extensively with Fortune 500 companies -- Polaroid, Gillette, Johnson & Johnson, Ralston Purina, General Mills, and American Express -- to create new or leverage established brands. Brand names to her credit include Olean, the revolutionary fat-free fat from Procter & Gamble; Aurora Bank; and Appetize, the 1995 Food Processing Top Award Winner, new product.

In 1991, Vickie published two books under the War of the Words title WOW, The Gulf War Quote by Quote and WOW, 25 Years of Superbowl Headbutts and High-Fives. She has also worked extensively with internationally respected author and speaker Harvey Mackay on his New York Times bestsellers Swim with the Sharks Without Being Eaten Alive, Beware the Naked Man Who Offers You His Shirt, Sharkproof, and Dig Your Well Before You're Thirsty. She holds degrees in Journalism and Education and was a faculty member at the Sydney, Australia International Young Presidents Organization University.
