Raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Susan Butcher moved to the Wrangell Mountains of Alaska to pursue her first love - dog-sled racing and breeding huskies! A professional musher, dog breeder, and veterinary technician, she is also the first person ever to win the Iditarod three consecutive times. Today, she is the foremost representative of dog-sled racing worldwide, appearing many times on national and global television. Her appearances include ABC's 20/20, NBC's The Late Night Show, CBS's CBS Sports Saturday, The Joan Rivers Show, and PBS's documentary, The Susan Butcher Story.
