Peter Glen is an author and a retail consultant. He travels around the world giving inspirational marketing seminars and workshops to all kinds of companies-largely retailers but also manufacturers and various associations -- on the subjects of marketing, visual merchandising, and particularly customer service, which is his specialty.

He is the author of It's Not My Department!, which is all about customer service from both sides of the relationship. It's anecdotal, very funny as well as practical. It tells you how to get what you need as a customer. Peter believes in the perpetual improvement of business and life. In 1999, he received the Retail Advertising Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award
