Ambassador Michael Samuels heads an international management consulting firm specializing in international trade and public affairs. As Deputy United States Trade Representative and U.S. Ambassador to the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), Ambassador Samuels played a key role in the development and representation of United States trade policy. He is also an expert in African affairs and served as Ambassador to Sierra Leone during the Ford Administration. He is currently Chairman of the Trade and Investment Committee of the National Foreign Trade Council and an advisor to the U.S. Council of the Mexico-U.S. Business Committee.
