He has been the creative force and focal point of international comedic basketball for more than four decades. From the streets and inner city playgrounds where kids try to duplicate his basketball wizardry to the luxurious cities of the world, Meadowlark Lemon is a household name. He grew up in North Carolina, had no money, and shot his first baskets into a homemade hoop made of coat hangers and a milk can.
