The much-awaited book entered the best-seller's list at #1 and has since sold over 750,000 copies. It is also the material behind his popular Personal Success Seminars, which John leads in cities around the United States.

Dr. Gray's latest book is on the topic of positive parenting, entitled Children Are from Heaven (HarperCollins, September 1999). The book offers parents much-needed guidance on meeting the different challenges of raising boys and girls, handling issues of divorce and much more.

Dr. Gray is also a nationally syndicated columnist. John Gray's Mars & Venus advice column appears weekly in such newspapers as the Los Angeles. Times, Chicago Sun-Times, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, New York Newsday, New York Daily News, Denver Post, Arizona Republic, the Oregonian, St. Paul Pioneer-Press, and The Palm Beach Post.

Dr. Gray is a Certified Family Therapist, Consulting Editor of The Family Journal, a member of the Distinguished Advisory Board of the IAMFC, a Fellow and Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists and Psychodiagnosticians, a Diplomate and Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, and a member of the American Counseling Association.

John is married to Bonnie Gray. Together they have three daughters.
