From Washington to Moscow, CNN's White House Correspondent, Jill Dougherty, has reported on some of the major events of our time: the demise of the Soviet Union; the election of Bill Clinton; the coup attempt against Boris Yeltsin; the debate over health care reform; the Cuban and Haitian crises; and the historic handshake between the leaders of Israel and Palestine. Assigned to the White House in 1991, Ms. Dougherty has also anchored CNN and CNN International news programs.
