James Martin is a futurist who has been successfully predicting business and technology trends for over 30 years. A prolific author, Martin received a Pulitzer Prize nomination for his book The Wired Society and released his one hundreth book, Cybercorp: The New Business Revolution, in 1996. Computerworld named him one of the "25 People Who Have Most Influenced the Computer Industry" and Business Age credited him as one of the top technology gurus in Europe. Prior to founding his own consulting firm, Martin spent 19 years with IBM. He has conducted studies at top management levels for such companies as AT&T, Honeywell, Texas Instruments, Xerox, and GTE, and he advised the government of the United Kingdom on how to restructure telecommunications in Britain.
