Elizabeth Drew is a highly-acclaimed observer of the Washington scene, who writes a nationally-syndicated column and serves as a commentator for NBC's Meet the Press. She is also frequently seen on The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. A prolific author, Drew has written nine books. Her most recent titles are On the Edge: The Clinton Presidency and Showdown: The Struggle Between the Gingrich Congress and the Clinton White House. Drew has had her own series of weekly television programs for PBS and has served as a moderator and panelist for two presidential debates.
