A recent theatre review said that Deborah is a "considerable match as singer, actress and comedian. Tranelli has a big, warm voice that communicates whatever feeling she wants directly and honestly." Deborah delicately crafts each song with her own unique style, from intimate ballads to brassy show tunes.

Deborah is an award-winning vocalist who takes centre stage, captivating her audiences whether in sophisticated nightclubs or sold out stadiums. Gracing stages throughout the US and the Orient, Ms. Tranelli has been heralded in performances with such talents as Dionne Warwick, Bob Hope, Jack Jones, Smokey Robinson, glen Campbell, Johnny Mathis, Charley Pride, Charlie Thomas, Vince Gill, Joe Williams and Julie Wilson.

Performing on stage since the age of 13, Deborah received her formal theatrical training at Northwestern University. After graduation, she remained in Chicago and was a busy cabaret and jingle singer. She also starred as Rebecca Wright in the original production of Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up? Shortly after moving to LA, she was cast in the hit Series Dallas, and spent the next 11 years co-starring as Phyllis, Bobby Ewing's loyal executive assistant. Her numerous other TV appearances include: Hart To Hart, Three's Company, The Charmings, Law And Order, and even a trapeze artist on Circus of the Stars! She has many LA theatre credits as well, and has appeared in numerous on-camera and voice-over commercials and on several game show. Deborah received rave reviews for her cabaret performances at The Gardenia, The Rose Tattoo, Vine Street, Carlos N' Charlie's and At My Place.

After completing a 73-city national tour of Cole Porter's 100th Birthday Party for Columbia Artists, Deborah decided to pursue her career in New York. Her singing talents have been praised in performances at Eighty Eight's, Don't Tell Mama, Town Hall, Lyrics & Lyricists, Sardi's and the famed Russian Tea Room cabaret series. She is the recipient of the 1996 Back Stage Bistro Award for her work in Life Is Not Like The Movies. Back Stage says: "Tranelli's a vocal powerhouse and a natural for nightclubs and cabarets...fabulousstunning, absolutely entrancing...she's got what it takes!"

A firm believer in "giving back" to the community, Ms. Tranelli has organized and participated in numerous fundraising concerts and telethons over the years. She combined her love of reading and voice-over talent by recording books for the Braille Institute of LA for four satisfying years.
