Aries Spears was born on April 3rd, 1975, in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of seventeen, Mr. Spears felt that public education had nothing more to offer him and left to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. Soon after, he appeared on Def Comedy Jam and Showtime at the Apollo while touring the country with his mix of afrocentricness and "dead on" impressions. In 1993, Aries starred in the short-lived series South of Sunset with former Eagle's guitarist, Glenn Frey. Although the series only lasted one episode, this did not discourage other networks from signing Aries to many development deals over the following years. During this time, Aries was known throughout Hollywood as "the kid with a lot of money who isn't on TV." That was until 1997, when Aries landed on MADtv, where he's been ever since. Aries currently resides in Los Angeles with his stand-up Mortal Kombat IV video game, his brand new Lexus, more gold jewelry than Mr. T, several bitches a week, and more money than 99% of America will ever see.
