Entrain
The five-piece ensemble blends a combustible mix of original rock. funk, ska, New Orleans, African poly-rhythms and percussion that fuels visceral live performances, enthralling both music fans and critics alike. News stories about Entrain have been picked up by all of the major networks, especially since the vacationing President Clinton sat in on saxophone with the band during the summer of 1994. A measure of just how quickly and enthusiastically word has spread about the band: in balloting by fans and entertainment professionals, Entrain won the 1995 Boston Music Award for the Most Outstanding Live Performance in the New England region. With voting by public and professionals alike, Entrain was honored to accept this award after having been on the Boston scene for barely a year.
