In 1994, Freak Nasty, failing miserably with his production team, came up with a catchy little hook named “Da Dip”, which instantly became a favorite among dance clubs and MTV. This single made its debut on his second album, Controversee…That’s Life…And That’s the Way It Is, which was released in the fall of 1996. The song stayed in the charts for weeks but the album itself never made an impact.
