F.I. is a group consisting of three members Filthee, Rif, and Dutch brought together in 1997 with the intent of creating something new for Hip Hop. Though Hip Hop is their foundation, one listen to their debut album and you'll see that their influences stretch far across the musical spectrum with tones of hard guitars, latin percussion, and theatrical samples chopped in just the right places. With a strong emphasis on lyrical content and energy reminiscent of Public Enemy, Rage Against The Machine, or The Clash, F.I. brings that mix of rebellious angst and intelligent satire that’s been missing in music for some time.
