DJ Sassy has re-signed her contract with Mates this year, after being crowned Miss Mates Explore, the sex ambassador promoting safe sex to the youth last summer. She was also voted Best Bum in Europe after her bum was used on LastMinute.com billboards. DJ Sassy recently played at the 4th Anniversary party at Pacha in Munich, and at the Maxim Magazine party at Pacha in London. She also played for Ministry of Sound "Smoove" and the Jay-Z Album Launch Party at Ministry of Sound in London.
DJ Sassy will be continuing her international DJ dates in 2005, including the Bahrain Grand Prix & Fashion TV Party and various other dates around Europe. Last year, DJ Sassy was resident in Ibiza at Twice As Nice / Sexy 'n Stylish, and played for P Diddy's party at Eden in Ibiza.
Other clients over the last couple of years include Fashion TV, Shady Records (Anger Management Tour), Nike, MTV, Maxim Magazine, Levis, Eminem, Destinyıs Child, Lilı Kim, Mobb Deep, P Diddy, Misteeq, Lennox Lewis, Mos Def, and HipHop fashion designer Karl Kanis. Corporate clients include Sega Dreamcast, Microsoft X Box, Smirnoff, Wonder Bra, Evian, Sony, Warner Bros, Radio One and Capital Radio. She has also played at Bad Boys 2, James Bond and Mummy Film Premieres.
DJ Sassy is now an international name and plays at various universities and numerous clubs all over the world. She plays host to parties in Dubai, Bahrain, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Greece, Spain, Ibiza, Germany, Switzerland, Malta. Some of the most memorable events were DJing at MTV Asiaıs Grindı Party to 5000 people on the beach in November 2002, playing alongside Green Lantern for the Eminem Anger Management European Tour After Show Party in June 2003, and DJing for over 10,000 people at the Star Mild Crushbone Grand Final in Indonesia.
DJ Sassy was first spotted DJing at the world famous Miami Music Conference and reached A-list status on the circuit when she accompanied P Diddy on the decks at his launch party held in Café de Paris, July 1999. DJ Sassy is always on the move, and has been involved in MTVıs Lickı tour, as well as a tour of her own all over the UK. DJ Sassy, 25, was brought up in Brockley, South London. Her career path started at Lewisham College where she completed a Theatre Studies course, then went on to study the Method Lee Strasberg technique with David Bennett. DJ Sassy is set to play the lead in the Brit Flick "Supergrass" in late 2005.
Sassy was discovered by Elite Models in Milan, who described her as a Spanish-looking Cindy Crawford with Julia Roberts lips, and she has been one of Londonıs most successful models for the last five years. She is now recognised as the countryıs Number One female Hip Hop DJ. She has graced the covers of numerous magazines and has done spreads in Maxim, GQ, FHM, Front, Loaded, Stuff, ICE, Boys Toys, T3, Marie Claire, Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Elle to name but a few.
