Smokie are a U.K. based band with a pedigree from their many hits during the 70's, but has a very modern country - rock profile. A distinctive sound combined with a vast experience in 'live' performances make them one of the most exciting and popular bands today's circuits throughout Europe, Russia and South Africa and now South America, China and the far east are switching on to the unique sound of Smokie. They have also been elevated to the status of a European "Super-Group" in the latest classifications. They have now sold almost 30 million albums worldwide and continue to sell-out live concerts wherever they play. For the last 14 years they have played usually between 150 and 200 live shows, in front of audiences totaling up to 3 million people each year.
