Western Electric are: Sid Griffin vocals, guitars, harmonica & mandolin, Pat McGarvey bass, vocals & banjo, Neil Robert Herd guitars, pedal steel & vocals, and Dave Morgan drums, programming & percussion.

Western Electric hope to have their second album out in early 2006. Low key sessions have yielded six songs so far, or as Sid says, "five good songs...".

Pedal steel guitarist Neil Robert Herd, recently seen on tour with the Deadstring Brothers from Detroit, has been editing both concert and behind the scenes footage of the month long Western Electric tour of the USA and hopes to have something to present the public with in 2006. Herd is also both a stage manager and tour manager of note so his workload hasn't allowed him in the editing booth as often as he would like. (Herd was the Long Ryders tour manager on their summer 2004 State Of Our Reunion Tour.)
