For the past 19 years, TIM HERMAN has been writing songs and playing country music for appreciative fans all over Western Canada. Tim was also the driving force behind the band WICHITA from 1981 until embarking on this solo project in 1996.

Tim was raised on the family ranch just north of Medicine Hat. The area known as Box Springs would prove to create quite a few champion cowboys, with whom Tim rodeoed with and learned about the cowboy ethic. WICHITA gave Tim the opportunity to hone his skills in a professional manner.

Some of the success to come from WICHITA's early releases include; "Draw the Line" - Cancountry Hit Chart #54 Feb/86; "Divided We Stand, Together We Fall" Cancountry Hit Chart #46 Aug/89; "Bring Me Back Someday" - Alberta Country Project 1989; "Going Down the Road" - substantial airplay indicated by royalties received. WICHITA was also nominated for Recording Group of the Year by A.R.I.A., and Group of the Year by the C.M.A.C. back in 1989 and '90.

The debut TIM HERMAN album was tracked on a national level and produced three Cancountry hits,

"Little Girl Next Door" - Cancountry Hit Chart #94 June/97

"Chase Her 'Round In The Pale Moonlight~.Cancountry Hit Chart #61 July/97

"Wrap Your Arms" was released late summer '97 with a video produced by INFINITY PRODUCTIONS of Burnaby, BC. This song was on the CMN Charts.

The album release party Sunday, February 2,1997 in the Social Room of the Moose Lodge was a tremendous success. Original seating was prepared for 400 people, but before showtime the dance-floor had to be filled with chairs, leaving a standing room only crowd of between 650 and 700 people. Unfortunately, approximately 200 people had to be turned away due to lack of room.

Since then Tim has opened for IAN TYSON, WILLIAMS & REE, and continues to have the busiest band in Southern Alberta, including a "Cowboy Oktoberfest" and a sold out "New Country New Years" party in Medicine Hat.

The song "Wrap Your Arms" is included on the new CD, "Walk A Mile" as a multi media enhancement .

The new album is now at Canadian Radio and the first single "Wish You Were Her" was on the Country Music News chart for 4 months.

The new single "Treat Me Just Right" is receiving airplay in Alberta and Saskatchewan and Charting at #84 in March.

The "Walk A Mile" album is now distributed NATIONALLY by ROYALTY RECORDS of Edmonton.

Watch for Tim and his band in the near future at rodeos, concerts, festivals, or almost anywhere else there’s country music playing
