R. Bruce
In the early 90's, he combined his musical, songwriting roots with his natural knack for humor to become a popular headliner on the national comedy club circuit. From "A" rooms such as the Improv in DC, Charlie Goodnight's in Raleigh and Zanie's in Chicago, to literally hundreds of clubs and colleges, R. Bruce has shared his humor and music with thousands of appreciative audiences. In 2004 he performed to sold out audiences in England, including breaking the attendance record at the i.e. Theatre in Axminster. His two CD's, "Album?" and "Still Laughin'" have been featured on radio stations across the country, including regular airplay on the internationally syndicated Dr. Demento Radio show and Tom Tully's "Mad Cow Comedy" in Melbourne, AUS. R. Bruce's humor is FUN. He brings people together in laughter through the things that we have in common, not the things that separate us. He is not "edgy" or angry. His original songs are a combination of rock and country. His musical parodies run the gamut from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Alanis Morissette… from Garth Brooks to Steppenwolf. His show rocks. His audiences have a great time… and so does he.
