Mary Anne Nichols
Mary Anne was always moving ... always writing ... always looking for some new outlet for her creativity ... and, above all, always funny. Once single and settled in Seneca Falls, Mary Anne expanded her horizons by joining the Family and Supreme Courts as a clerk for more than 14 years, was a Nutritional Aide and worked in Public Relations and Sales. An eclectic background? You bet! But, for Mary Anne Nichols, it was nothing more than a material-gathering mission for her real career ... COMEDY! Single, pushing sixty and very, very, sexy (when not bursting into flaming hot flashes), she turned her life and her experiences into a hilarious stand-up routine that has entertained local radio audiences and national comedy clubs for the past eight years, leading to a role on an ABC pilot, "David Goes Home." She also participates in regional and community theater, demonstrating a diverse grasp of comedy, drama and musical roles. Only Mary Anne Nichols could take a sensitive subject like menopause, and turn it into an evening of hysterical, non-stop and utterly irreverent comedy. She has given a whole new meaning to "change of life".... After all, it’s when she changed hers ... and an awful lot of audiences from coast to coast are glad that she did!
