Entertainer, FRED TRAVALENA, known for his impressions and comedy from National television appearances to headline engagements from Atlantic City to Las Vegas, has turned his talents to song writing. Most recently released CD, “The Spirit of America”, written for 9/11, along with the 2000 release of “The Manhattan Christmas Suite”, and his 1998 release of CD “We All Need Love Today”. Because of his love for singing Fred also released a CD in 2003, "I Thought About You" which are all his favorite songs recorded by Frank Sinatra. All of his other CD’s contain original songs all written, produced and sung by FRED TRAVALENA.

FRED TRAVALENA was born in the Bronx, NY and raised on Long Island. As a young adult he served in Special Services with the US Army. He moved to Los Angeles 27 years ago to build his world of entertainment. He has delighted audiences worldwide throughout his multi-faceted career with his characterizations of highly visible public figures and has earned nicknames such as “the Man of a Thousand Faces”, “Mr. Everybody”™, and most recently “World Famous” by NBC’s EXTRA!

FRED TRAVALENA’s television credits range from hosting his own television specials, i.e.: "Fred and Bunny", “THE MANY FACES OF FRED TRAVALENA”, “COMEDY IN THE OVAL OFFICE”, “ANYTHING FOR MONEY” and “BABY RACES”. Many appearances on National television and news programs range from: “VH-1, THE LIST”, “E-HOME " , "E-ENTERTAINMENT”, “LATE NIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN”, “CNN”, “LARRY KING”, “LIVE WITH REGIS & KATHI LEE”, “NASHVILLE NOW”, “DONNIE & MARIE” (then & now), “THE TONIGHT SHOW”, “BEVERLY HILLS, 90210”, “WALKER TEXAS RANGER”, “THE LOVE BOAT”, movie of the week, “SHOOTING STARS”, the classic series “KOPYKATS”, and the list continues. His appearances on many telethons always help the final totals, as well as his co-host/MC abilities on the Arthritis Telethon for four years. Continual praise in the role as VCR in In the comedy feature film, “BUY & CELL”, supports his abilities as an actor. He continues to receive rave notices for his acting as Madman Mancuso, in the feature film "The Buddy Holly Story" whenever aired on television.

FRED continues his variety performance by frequenting the casino theaters in Las Vegas, Reno, and Atlantic City as well as Performing Arts Theaters around the country, and “In-Concert” performances for many Fortune 500 Corporations. A concert show during the Holiday Season, “A HOLLYWOOD HOLIDAY CONCERT” filled with all holiday music as well as voices of popular TV & Movie Stars is a major hit every December.

FRED will be honored by Club Italia in 2004 with a Merit Achievement Award in Las Vegas for his contributions to society. He has been honored as Angel of the Year by The Women in Show Business Award of Excellence by the Film Advisory Board Best Performer in Commercials by the Telly Service Award International Silver Award in Radio Commercials Congressman’s Merit Award for his contribution and support to the POW and MIA cause Best Singer by the All Army Entertainment Award and Man of the Year by the National Italian American Foundation as well as special awards bny Club DaVinci , UNICO, Sons of Italy & NIAF.
