Ron Dante started his career as a singer/songwriter for the legendary music man Don Kirshner. Ron wrote songs for some the biggest artists of the sixties including Gene Pitney, Jay & The Americans, The McCoys, Johnny Mathis, Gary Lewis & The Playboys, Bobby Vinton, Freddy Cannon, Jimmy Clanton and Bobby Vee. His first hit record was with a group called The Detergents whose song "Leader Of The Laundromat" was top ten in 1965. He toured with The Dick Clark Caravan of Stars for two years appearing with such groups as Herman's Hermits, The Rolling Stones, Freddy & The Dreamers, The Hollies, Little Richard, The Animals and Little Anthony & The Imperials.

In 1969 Ron was the lead voice of The Archies whose recording of "Sugar, Sugar" sold more than ten million copies and was voted the number one record of the year by Billboard Magazine. That year he also was the lead singer of The Cuff Links and had another top ten hit with "Tracy".

In the seventies Ron sang lead on many commercials some of which became anthems for a generation. Pepsi, Coke, Dr. Pepper and McDonalds were as well know as his biggest hits. Today Ron is the voice of Yoplait's "Itsy Bitsy Yellow Poka Dot Bikini" tv spots.

Ron went on to become the producer of such artists as Barry Manilow, Cher, Pat Benetar and Irene Cara. His productions have sold more than 70 million albums.

Ron currently has 2 albums in release on Digital Musicworks International. "Saturday Night Blast" and "Rockin' Christmas Party are both available on Itunes and msnMusic and has songs old and new with a few guest appearances by Ron's friends Andy Kim and Peter Noone.
