The musicians in the SURF CITY ALLSTARS came together in the 80s and 90s from their long time touring in the Beach Boys band. Everyone also toured in the Jan&Dean band at one time or another. They formed the SURF CITY ALLSTARS to tour on their own as well as with special guests: Original Beach Boy Al Jardine, Dean Torrence of Jan&Dean, and Original Beach Boy David Marks. They were dubbed the World's Greatest Surf Band by the surviving members of the Beach Boys and Jan&Dean.

The Allstars are the best because they were taught all the original vocal harmonies by the Original Beach Boys and the late Jan Berry of Jan&Dean. No one sounds more authentic than the Surf City Allstars. They also include many audience participation segments in the show with prize give aways:
