Huddled on the corners of the streets of Philadelphia, the Intruders devoted each and every waking moment to perfecting their delicate vocal harmonies. "Cowboys to Girls" was their ticket. The single captured the innocence and exuberance of their lamp-lit magic. In the process the Intruders grew from boys to men, addressing adult these like "I'll Always Love My Mama," and "I Want To Know your Name." But , "Save the Children," with its call for social responsibility, showed that the Intruders never lost their connection to their urban roots. Powered by Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff's slick Philly soul machine, the Intruders came full circle as brothers, fathers and sons.
