A Taste Of Honey
The second ATOH album went Gold in Japan and also garnered Gold for the Single with “Do It Good” (a song that also won Gold for a third time when it was awarded the Gold Prize Award at the 8th Annual Tokyo Music Festival). The band’s third album, produced by George Duke, gave us “Sukiyaki” (a remake of Kyu Sakamoto’s 1963 international hit) also went to #1 on the national charts adding yet another Gold Single to the achievements of ATOH. Hazel Payne has both national and international tours to her credit, including radio and television appearances. Now, she is joined with Karen Walker, lead vocalist/ bassist from Boston, Massachusetts (former bassist for Neil Diamond’s percussionist King Errison)… two “girls with guitars”...
