In 2002 Little River Band is celebrating its twenty-seventh year as an enduring musical icon. They have had ten Top Ten US hits from their fourteen albums with sales exceeding twenty million. Tracks such as Reminiscing and Lonesome Loser have had over three million airplays on American radio. Little River Band was the first Australian act to achieve phenomenal success in America from an Australian base.

Little River Band is proud to introduce its new CD "Where We Started From". The album features nine new tracks plus stunning new versions of their classic hits Night Owls and Cool Change.

The band continues to excite audiences all over the world. The obvious mutual respect shared between members creates a connection with the audience which elevates the experience leaving a lasting impression.

Wayne Nelson (lead vocals/bass) is a linchpin of the Little River Band sound. His vocal on Night Owls (1980) propelled the song into the Top Ten. Along with Kevin Murphy (drums/vocals) they provide a powerful rhythm section groove.

Wayne and Kevin are part of a rare breed of musicians where excellence is achieved simultaneously in both their instrumental and vocal skill. Kevin provides a powerful groove and soaring vocal harmonies that draw accolades wherever Little River Band perform.

Stephen Housden's (lead guitar/vocals) guitar sound is instantly recognisable on their recordings. In concert his dynamic and improvisational approach captivates audiences in venues large and small.

Glenn Reither's (keyboards/sax/vocals) magnificent songwriting skills are again demonstrated on the new CD. His songs include the title track "Where We Started From" among others.

Greg Hind (guitar/vocals), is an energetic performer whose contribution on guitar, vocals and songwriting is vital to the band.
