She's articulate, worldly and has developed an incredibly quick wit that transcends all audiences, either in concert or on television. A native of Houston, Montanna has won numerous talent competitions as well as beauty pageants. No stranger to the stage she is also a talented and experienced actress with many stage productions to her credit, as well as an impressive list of television credits. Recently awarded her own 30 minute comedy special on the BET cable network and subsequently being honored as "comedian of the Year", she has won the hosting job for the 1997/98 season of "Comic View" the networks number one rated program. With an active touring schedule that grows with every television appearance, her star has just begun to rise.
