Hailing from Athens, GA, ’Sector 9 creates a transcendent atmosphere based primarily on instrumental compositions heavy with thick grooves, soaring melodic lines and spacy keyboard and guitar riffs. Something akin to Ozric Tentacles at The Blue Note, Sound Tribe Sector 9’s blend of jazz, techno and trancy psychedelia has gained them strong support from more established jam bands, club agents and promoters.
