From Norfolk Virginia, The Showmen signed with Mint Records in New Orleans and made Shaggin' history with the song "39-21-40 Shape". Later they moved to Swan Records in Philadelphia and recorded "It Will Stand", another Beach favorite. In 1991 they recorded another hit with "Shaggin' the Night Away" proving that they still had what it takes to compete in today's music industry. The Showmen have played some of the largest venues in America including New York's famous Apollo Theater. Today with 3 vocalists, a full horn section and a strong rhythm section the Showmen have unlimited potential to cover any hit on the charts today
