Born to Irish and Mexican parents, Michael was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. At four years old, he landed his first commercial for Band-Aid. He went on to appear in national commercials for McDonalds and Mattel, to name a few. As a child actor, he appeared in such hit television shows as St. Elsewhere, Taxi and Silver Spoons; and he co-starred with Rob Lowe in the television movie, Thursday's Child.

In past years, Michael worked on such television projects as Sister, Sister and Alexandria Hotel, as well as a pilot based on his real-life singing group, Shades of One. He also starred in the feature films, Boys Life 2 (Must Be the Music) and River Made to Drown In. Since May of 1999 until February of 2001, Michael played the role of Juan Santiago on the soap opera General Hospital.

Acting is not Michael's only passion. After graduating from high school, Michael took some time away from acting to focus on his other love -- music. At the time he started working on General Hospital, Michael was lead singer of a talented 4-guy singing group. General Hospital loved the sound that was being created for the group, and especially loved the song produced by Melanie Andrews-Wilder for Michael's group entitled, "We Got The Night." After much thought of how many boy bands were on the scene, the group went their separate ways.

Michael decided to go solo and began collaborating with Melanie. Michael signed a production deal with Melanie's production company, Swing Productions. The two are currently making magic in the studio creating his first CD. General Hospital approached Melanie and made a deal with her for the song "We Got The Night" to be written into the show and performed by Michael. The first episode was taped (December '99) and aired in 2000 on numerous episodes. Michael is living his ideal life.

Michael currently lives with his dog, Sierra, in Los Angeles. When he is not working, writing songs or recording, Michael enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the beach and playing basketball.

Michael has an awesome talent in acting, singing and songwriting, and has a unique pop/acoustic/r&b sounding radio friendly, CD coming soon!
