LaBamba & The Hubcaps

LaBamba is Richie Rosenberg, an extraordinary vocalist and trombone player whom for 16 years has been a central figure with Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes (a/k/a Miami Horns.) When not touring or recording, LaBamba orchestrates some of the NY/NJ area’s finest musicians into, at times, up to a 17-piece rockin’ rhythm & blues band known as LaBamba & the Hubcaps, entertaining at corporate parties for Philip Morris, BMI Music and Sports Illustrated, as well as private affairs, niteclubs and other venues. As an individual artist, LaBamba has also excelled in arranging and composing on the industrial level. Some recent credits include work for Pontiac, Chevrolet, Holiday Inn, AT&T and Unisys, and the original New Jersey Nets theme. He was also commissioned to work on the "New Jersey & You" campaign.
