GBH is one of the most uncompromising bands in the world. Originally formed in 1979 in Birmingham, England, their first album “City Baby Attacked By Rats” was released in 1982 to critical acclaim and it’s follow up City Baby’s Revenge” released in 1983, fortified the GBH sound-noisy and distorted hardcore punk rock. All through the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s GBH has continued to release records and tour the world.

GBH have toured everywhere including the USA, Europe, Japan, Russia, Israel, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina. Bands like Metallica, Nirvana, Rancid, Sepultura and Slayer have all cited GBH as an influence.

After much demand, 2004 sees the release of “Cruel & Unusual” which combines the songs from the 2 out of print GBH & Billyclub split EP’s “Punk As Fuck” and “Punk Rock Ambulance” originally released for their 1999 tour along with 4 live versions of GBH’s most popular songs including “Drugs Party In 526”, “Give Me Fire”, “Freak”, and “Time Bomb” which were recorded in Leeds, England in 2002.
