Lila Bloom
Ms. Bloom performs the soulful and sultry vocals of the operetta, while Tony Laurie plays the lament of the male lover on the guitar. The stinging licks of the instrumentation intertwine with the vocals, creating a harmony that caresses the audience, enticing each person to "stay the night". Ken Crow plays rhythm guitar, Aaron Ainbinder rocks on the bass, and Tracy Weigum plays percussion. Lila Bloom and her band currently tour California, Las Vegas, and Colorado. You may have seen her perform at the Majestical Roof in Pasadena, Peet's coffee, or the Peace Festival in Riverside. Lila Bloom had the great distinction of singing the national anthem at the Colfax Marathon in Denver, and she frequently donates performances to non-profit organizations such as the Humane Society and the American Cancer Society. Don't miss this operetta! it breathes new life into a classic art form, and its haunting sound will follow you long after you hear it. | ||||||||
