Cerca Trova is an original Rock band based in Chantilly, VA. This four piece band was originated in October, 2005. Cerca Trova has a refreshingly original sound and an incredible stage presence. When the band first came together, they were playing just to enjoy the music and creativity, nothing more. Since day one, it’s been a group effort to achieve a common goal, the goal to be the best and to blend each musician’s talent and creativity. Each time Cerca Trova steps on stage, they are reminded of that goal and strive to put on the best performance possible. Their music speaks for itself.

Cerca Trova consists of four members: • Angelo Soares (guitar) • Dave Wernelli (bass) • Josh Cockrell (drums) • Jordan Waddell (vocals)

This group is very cultured and their musical talent speaks volumes. They really strive to take their art to the next level.

They have a unique style and several musical influences including Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Underoath, The Used, and the band Fall from Troy, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Led Zepelin, Fall of Troy and B. B. King, John Bonham, Buddy Rich, Bill Bachman and Joe Joe Mayor, Brandon Boyd (Incubus), Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Paul McCartney.

The members of Cerca Trova have a great passion that cannot be defined in words and with this passion comes even greater determination to succeed. Cerca Trova definitely has something to say and wants it to be known. They are a great act to see and should not be missed!
