The Twain Hardin Crutcher Band is an experienced, full-service musical entity perfect for fairs, trade shows, casual and corporate work. We are capable of providing full PA as well as extensive visual effects (including lasers, strobes and fog).

the Twain Hardin Crutcher Band features: Dan Twain : Vocals & Guitar (as well as other stringed instruments). An early baby boomer, Dan was born in Oakland, CA. He played around the bay area in the late 60’s and 70’s. The bay area still has one of the west coast’s premier broadcast markets and Dan saw his share of commercial radio spots during the 70’s. He moved to Vancouver, WA in 1975 and has been a local music force ever since.

In addition to vocals, Dan contributes guitar, bass and banjo to the group.

Some of the bands Dan has played with in the past include: Electric Twain, Big G and the Cheerios, Roaring Door, Django, East Country Outlaws, Country Velvet, Velvet Fever, The Touch & Dayo

Jim Hardin: Vocals & Drums (as well as other percussion instruments). Originally from New England, Jim spent fifteen years playing with the top groups of the area before relocating to Portland in 1992. Since then, he has played with the very best of Portland’s talent. From Tom Grant to Norman Sylvester to Billy Hagen, Jim has kept the groove going.

Jim is a talented vocalist as well as being the driving force behind The Twain Hardin Crutcher Band’s dance-inspiring sound.

Some of the bands Jim has played with in the past include: Crazy Train, The Tom Grant Band, Norman Sylvester, Billy Hagen’s Trip, The Sinners Club, J. R. Simms

Jim Crutcher: Vocals & Bass (as well as other instruments). At age 8, while living in a log cabin in Alaska, Jim was exposed to an antique suitcase pump organ. He immediately took to playing it, figuring out melodies by ear. Since then, Jim has studied voice, taken up guitar, piano, bass and saxophone and played with some of the finest talent in the Pacific Northwest.

As well as contributing vocals to the band, Jim also plays bass, guitar and saxophone.
